 So you are on Twitter or LinkedIn, trying to start your journey as a Developer, and these people keep telling you: "You should not waste your time watching Udemy/Youtube courses, you won't actually learn!" "I read the documentation, you should do the same" "You will only learn if you build something and not by watching tutorials" Well, they are partially right, but also wrong! Android Development getting started

This article is for: Anyone who wants to learn Android Development but have no idea where to start. Also for anyone who has already started on Android Development but wants to learn the advanced topics. The goal is to provide a practical guide on how to learn Android Development in 2020. Getting started with the Android Development First of all, you must have a basic knowledge of the Java language for Android Development.  Set up Android Studio IDE of Android Development on your PC or Laptop.  Take a course or any book on Android app development with which you think you are comfortable. Being comfortable with the course or with the book is very important. When you take the course or read the book, always apply that on a sample app. I mean to say that build something on whatever you read.

While I’m actually over-due for an update, one of the coolest things about an  Android  phone getting out of warranty is the new-found freedom to enjoy rooting and applying custom ROMS (software versions). While HTC provided the upgrades from the  version of Android  known as “Froyo” to “Gingerbread” and then (surprisingly) to “Honeycomb”… the simple fact is that the hardware is really not fast enough for more current versions of  Android .  That however didn’t stop the Android community from making it happen anyways! While the community never successfully got “Ice Cream Sandwich” working on the Dinc, recently a  very solid working beta of the newest version, “Jelly Bean”, was released for DInc !  While admittedly, this is such a hardware stretch for this phone that it’s sluggish… flashing the ROM gave me a great excuse to identify which apps I currently depend on and to share them with you!
