While I’m actually over-due for an update, one of the coolest things about an  Android  phone getting out of warranty is the new-found freedom to enjoy rooting and applying custom ROMS (software versions). While HTC provided the upgrades from the  version of Android  known as “Froyo” to “Gingerbread” and then (surprisingly) to “Honeycomb”… the simple fact is that the hardware is really not fast enough for more current versions of  Android .  That however didn’t stop the Android community from making it happen anyways! While the community never successfully got “Ice Cream Sandwich” working on the Dinc, recently a  very solid working beta of the newest version, “Jelly Bean”, was released for DInc !  While admittedly, this is such a hardware stretch for this phone that it’s sluggish… flashing the ROM gave me a great excuse to identify which apps I currently depend on and to share them with you! Here’s Where You Can Find  Your Google+ ID Lots of Google+ related tools now ask for our Google+ ID… yet surprisingly it’s not our login ID… so where do we find the pesky thing? If you’ve decided that Facebook is your source of entertainment, then be sure to use it as a reward for a job well done. The Pomodoro Technique  incorporates breaks every half hour in order to maximize time management. Here’s what to do if you decide to try out Pomodoro: Decide on what task you will work on. Set a timer for 25 minutes. Work on the task until the timer rings, then put a check on a sheet of paper. Take a short break — even if it’s only five minutes on Facebook. Every four cycles, take a break that’s longer than five minutes. Marking the sheet of paper helps you keep track of your progress. Be sure those short breaks to Facebook remain short! It's easy to use and if you sign up, it even gives you a "ping me" button to place on your site for quicker pings. 2)   Pingfarm  - This site allows you to ping many URLs and RSS feeds at one go. It sends a quick ping to over 30 search engines and relevant blogs to index your webpage. 3)   Pingates  - This site allows your to send ping to over 45 search engines. 4)   Bulkping  - A quick and simple pinging site that allows your to ping your website or submit your RSS feed to over 25 search engines and large websites. 5)   Pingomatic  - It's a fast and easy to use ping site that regularly updates for the most relevant websites that will bring in the most traffic to your blogger site. This is by far my favorite pinging tool to use whenever I look to update my Blogger site to search engines.
